Early Voting Started

Early voting has started in most states including my home state of Texas.  It can be easy to skip mid term elections because they don't seem as important as voting for your favorite presidential candidate.  However, if you skip the midterms you might miss voting on an important bond, change in state law, or for a candidate you might later be sorry didn't win.  I am picking up my local voting guide today.  I hope you will do the same.

Sales Force CRM Presentation Today

Sales Force  is presenting a free session on using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools to scale, connect, and grow your customer base today at 4:00 PM.  Of course full disclosure, as you would expect they are showing how Sales Force is the answer to your problems.  It is a good tool and if you are looking for a scalable CRM they might be the answer. If you attend the session you will at least get a good idea of what a CRM tool can do for you and your business.

The next step,  research your options.  I will talk more about that later.

Chase Mission Main Street Grants

I voted for AlleeOops Photography  in the Chase Bank Mission Main Street Grants competition.  Each year Chase Bank offers a total of $3,000,000 in grants to small businesses.  The program offers a total of 20 grants per year.  Grant competitors must apply, be selected to compete, get a minimum of 250 votes from supporters, then be selected as the final recipient.  AlleeOops Photography of Plano, Texas is competing for a chance to bring home an award of  $150,000 in this years grant competition.
