Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Completes Financial Clinic

Last night 39 amazing DFW Entrepreneurs completed the first Financials clinic of two hosted by the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program.  The program was developed by Babson College and is presented through El Centro's Bill J. Priest Institute for Economic Development.  These 39 Entrepreneurs represent businesses ranging from high tech service firms to low tech, high volume  manufacturers all located throughout the DFW area.  Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program was designed to increase the ability of small businesses to grow revenue, hire local talent, and gain access to funding.  Though other programs have launched throughout the country this is the first cohort for DFW.  The program is free but seating is limited and companies must apply and commit to the entire program.  The second cohort is filling up according to Lin O'Neill, Lead Faculty member and the deadline is looming.  The application deadline is Sept. 29, 2014.
